Halloween Parade

Every year the whole school does a book parade with each child
wearing a costume from a favorite book character.
The Kinders were so excited to be able to be
FIRST in the line of the parade!!!

Here's the little munchkins all dressed up and ready to go!

Planting Our Kinder-Garden

Every year the all the kindergartners get to plant a garden out on the Kinder playground.
They bring flowers, veggies, seeds, soil, watering cans and hand tools. It's so fun to see them learning about gardening! It's a little crowded and hectic but the kids sure had a great time.

I would love any pictures you might have from this fun day!
I was only in one area so I didn't get pictures of all the kids. Sorry!
I will post them if you e-mail them to me.

Halloween Class Chef

Chef Jobe was in charge this month with a Halloween story and sweet treat! The kids got to make whipped cream and chocolate pudding and create a SPOOKY dessert. Yum! Then they squished blobs of white paint onto black card stock and folded the paper in half. What do you have after you do this - why a very cute yet somewhat spooky ghost! Perfect for our little Kinders♥

Class Picture Day

Class picture day is such a classic! The kids did great though - they were very obedient while waiting in line. We had Abby's mom Cara come take a group photo since the school didn't offer that to us this year. If you would like a copy for $1.00, let me know and we will get them printed up! (this is an unedited photo - the finished photo will be edited - lighter, brighter and cropped)

Class Chef

(I started out posting small pictures but then changed my mind. I hope you can see all the cuteness!)

Lets Eat!

Chef Pace helping her table with the pancakes.
Chef Steele getting the kids started and going over the recipe.
We had our first cooking experience with our Class Chefs - Chef Jobe, Chef Pace and Chef Steele. The kids got to hear the story If You Give a Pig a Pancake......and then they got to make pancakes! It was so fun and the kids were so cute! The cooking and eating took up most of the time but we were able to do a quick pig puppet to take home.
Don't those look yummy?
There was a secret ingredient.
You'll have to ask your kiddo for the secret!

Now it's Eating Time!

Yummy, Yummy in my Tummy!

Lip Smackin' Good!
Hey, did you eat my pancake?

Now It's Crafting Time
The fun just doesn't stop once we are done eating. We then made our Pink Pig Puppets. The kids had to cut and glue and color. isn't that what Kindergarten is all about. Hopefully a little piggy made it home with them and they were able to enjoy their day!
